I take your right to privacy very seriously and this policy explains how I store and use the information I collect from you, both online and at your appointment.

The type of information I collect

I collect your name, phone number and email address in order to liaise with you via email and phone to arrange appointments. I will not send you any promotional emails unless you have specifically given consent and subscribed via the website.

I will always offer you the option to unsubscribe within the email itself or website. I will often get in touch following an enquiry made via the contact form on the website, using the contact details you provide.

This website also collects the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. I use software for website reporting which measures and collects information including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. This is very common practice and the platform I use is Google Analytics.

I make notes about your treatment and medical history in the consultation forms, which we discuss at your appointments. I do not share this information with any third parties.

How I collect information

When you send a message via the Contact form, I collect personal information you provide such as your name, phone number and email address. Your personal information will be used to get in touch with you about appointments or queries you may have.

I also collect your personal information in your consultation forms, including your name, date of birth, emergency contact and medical history. This is essential for me to be able to treat you properly and adapt your treatment to your unique health needs.

How I store, use, share and disclose personal information

Louise Pavoni Therapies’ website is hosted on a Wix platform. Wix provides me with a website that allows us to share my services with you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

How I communicate with my clients or website visitors

I may contact you to notify you regarding your appointment, to collect fees or monies owed, to find out how you are doing following an appointment, to send updates about my services, or as otherwise necessary. For these purposes I may contact you via email, telephone, WhatsApp or text message.

Storing your personal data

Any personal data you provide via the website, email, phone or social media will be accessed via a secure digital device, e.g. laptop or phone, with a passcode that nobody else can access.

I store physical consultation forms with descriptive records of treatments and medical history in a locked unit in my home, where nobody else has access, for a minimum of 10 years from the date of treatment. This is in line with my Federation of Holistic Therapists membership conditions. After 10 years, it will be destroyed.

How I use cookies and other tracking tools

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a website visitor's browser. They help to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken. Cookies help to provide users with a better experience on the website, to monitor and analyse the performance of the platform, and to ensure it is safe.

Occasionally I may update this privacy policy and changes will take effect immediately. If I make significant changes to this policy, I will notify you that it has been updated, so that you are aware of any changes to the data I collect and how it is used.
